Locals 1st is still a winning strategy

In regional Australia supporting locals first is almost a way of life. Here at Inland Digital in Central West NSW it’s something we’ve embraced. Whether it’s our hiring policies or our supplier selection, we always try to put locals at the top of our criteria.

But in a world where globalisation is opening us up to more and more possibilities, does the ‘buy local’ strategy still have the legs it once had?

Technology itself isn’t always the answer

For regular readers of our blog, you’ve probably seen that one of the great things about our team is that we all have a passion for technology. As a technology business, building a great solution for our clients is something we strive for in every project. This passion has even seen the team win a number of awards recently, something we’re very proud of.

I believe there’s one big misconception when it comes to technology. While an innovative solution can improve the way you do business, if you’re relying on technology alone you probably won’t achieve the outcomes you had hoped.

My top 3 challenges for the Central West in 2017

Anyone that has ever worked with our business knows we love to boast about our great region. We’re proud to live and work in the Central West NSW and our success today is in no small part due to the many people and businesses we interact with on a daily basis.

I think the year ahead for the central west is looking good. Sydney’s expansion westward is bringing new economic opportunities and our tourism industry is well established. It’s a great time to be living in the area however, as with any region across our country, there are some challenges ahead, especially for the business community.
